What even is a Bint Bandora? 🍅

Bint Bandora means “daughter of tomato” in Arabic. I am a queer, Palestinian, mixed media artist.

My main artistic mediums are tatreez (traditional Palestinian embroidery), hand sewing, illustration, and collage.

I was born into diaspora, but use my creative practice to stay connected to my roots and explore queerness, grief, identity, and tradition. I strive to turn my own personal experiences into visual stories that help others to feel seen and speak to the greater, collective struggle.
